Presenter: Jessica Endsworth.
Wine industry insiders have been speculating that Chardonnay, not Pinot Noir, is the varietal that will allow Oregon to rival the illustrious region of Burgundy. Willamette Valley Chardonnay has recently drawn praise from major publications, renowned French winemakers like Dominique Lafon are setting up shop in the state, and several wineries have planted Chardonnay-only vineyards. Wine educator Jessica Endsworth is here from Oregon to host this seminar on the current enthusiasm for Oregon Chardonnay, and its future direction. Guests will taste samples from wineries including Stoller, Domaine Drouhin, David Hill Winery, and more.
